Designed in conjunction with the world’s most successful shearer of all time, the David Fagan Signature Series provides professional and discerning shearers around the world with the ultimate shearing equipment.
Who is David Fagan?
David Fagan is the world’s most successful shearer. He has set 10 world records and won the New Zealand Golden Shears contest a record 16 times. David has additionally won 5 world titles, 6 world team titles and 16 national titles. In total, David Fagan has won more than 600 open titles worldwide since 1983.

What does the David Fagan Signature Series include?
The David Fagan Signature Series will include a complete range of shearing gear. At present, the Nitro handpiece is the only item available but Lister will launch other products throughout 2011. Please check our website regularly for updates.
What do other world champions say?
Two world-class shearers have already smashed two separate world records with the new Nitro handpiece, the first item of shearing equipment in the David Fagan Signature Series.
New Zealand’s Stacey Te Huia set a new world eight-hour strong wool ewe shearing record of 603 on December 22 2010, bettering Matthew Smith’s record of 578 by 25. Tallies for each of his four two-hour runs were 146, 152, 153 and 152.
World champion shearer Cam Ferguson, also from New Zealand, struck another magic moment for the new Nitro handpiece, setting a new world eight-hour lamb shearing record of 742 on January 11 2011. Ferguson's tallies for each of the four two-hour runs were 183, 188, 187 and 184. He needed an average of 184 to equal the record.
Cam used Nitro handpieces, Supershear Panther combs and Nexus plant. In his speech, he simply said: “Lister has awesome gear and everyone should use it.”
